There was a welcome return of the ODDBA Brass Festival on Sunday 8th May at Marlborough School in Woodstock. The ODBBA committee have done a great job in keeping the festival going during lockdown, but it was great to be back playing in person.
We had two entries this year and we are very proud of them. Della Dawe came 3rd playing 'On With The Motley' in section C, the 12-14 Slow Melody and Ciara Bushnell and Della Dawe played The Chicken Reel in Section G, the under 15 Duet also coming 3rd in there section.
We are hoping to organise our own festival later in the year to give our players the chance to try a solo or duet, and hopefully this will mean we can get more entries into the 2023 ODBBA festival.
